Feature Pour & Snack: Barolo and Truffles

Whet your appetite with this month’s feature wine and snack; Barolo and truffles, a duo meant to be. Hailing from Italian truffle country, Barolo is one of the most aromatic and alluring of Italian red wines. We’ll be working our way through a handful of special drops, paired with Chef Gord Kahle’s decadent cheese on toast; brioche, Halls Suzette, fresh Manjimup truffle and aged truffle honey. Feature glass and snack $35 per person.

Truffle Season at The Heritage

The not-so secret secret is that Chef Gord Kahle is going all out with the truffle shaver this season. From Barolo and Truffles as the feature pour and snack, to the winter warming à la carte menu and ‘only while it lasts’ set menu, the Halls Family Dairy Beef Edition, all you need to do is ask and the truffle supplement is yours for the taking. And downstairs, Bobeche are busy brewing hot truffle butter rum, a masterful concoction not to be missed.
