Daffodil Day at Brookfield Place

It’s a sad reality, but everyone knows someone affected by cancer. The frightening fact is that half of all Australians will be diagnosed with cancer by the age of 85.

From research and prevention, to treatment and support, the Cancer Council is the only Australian charity to work across every area of every type of cancer. And Daffodil Day – which this year is being held on Friday, 24 August, is the one of the biggest dates in the Cancer Council’s fundraising calendar.

This year, we’ve made it even easier for tenants, staff and visitors to Brookfield Place to contribute towards this very worthwhile cause.

On Friday, 24 August the team from Cancer Council will be hosting a pop-up daffodil shop opposite the western entrance to Tower 2 from 7am. On hand they’ll have a selection of this year’s daffodil-themed gifts and collectables and – of course – bunches of their iconic beautiful yellow blooms available for you to purchase.

So brighten up your desk or someone else’s day to help raise vital funds to bring us all one step closer to a cancer free future.
