2018 Open House Perth at Brookfield Place

We are once again excited to be opening our doors to showcase some of the the state of the art spaces, places and tenancies that call Brookfield Place home as part of Open House Perth, Saturday, 10 November from 10am - 2pm.

With the intention of promoting the value of good design, Open House started as a small architectural event and has become a global phenomenon that now includes over 30 cities. Since starting in Perth in 2012, over 280,000 visitors have been welcomed into some of Perth's unique, exclusive, historical and exciting buildings and homes, including Tower 1, Tower 2 and the Heritage Buildings of Brookfield Place.

We might be biased, but highlights on this year's schedule include:

Brookfield Place Tower 2 – Conference Centre
Usually reserved for the exclusive use of tenants of Tower 2 at Brookfield Place, the state of the art Conference Centre located off the main lobby on the ground floor of the building features two, multi-purpose rooms designed by the award-winning team from Woods Bagot.

With tech facilities including 130 inch projector screens, wall mounted AMX touch panels, cameras, hearing loop technology, amplifiers, wireless microphones and receivers, automatic lighting and blind control and digital signal processors, design connoisseurs will admire the timber paneling, full height windows and functional design inclusions.  Find out more.

Brookfield Place Tower 2 – Level 16
After being completed in 2015, Brookfield Place Tower 2 has become one of the most sought after commercial buildings in Perth.

Renowned for its portfolio of international tenants, the building itself features 16 levels of premium office accommodation; a state of the art conference centre; fully serviced end of trip facilities; has a 5 star NABERS rating and was recently awarded a 5 GreenStar rating from the Green Building Council of Australia.

The 634sqm tenancy on level 16 is one of the rare vacant spaces available within the building and features full height windows with double glazing and uninterrupted views of the Swan River, Elizabeth Quay and Kings Park. Find out more.

Brookfield Place Tower 2 – Gilbert + Tobin
Relocated to the top floor of Tower 2 at Brookfield Place in June 2017 Gilbert + Tobin’s office fit-out was designed by Woods Bagot, an international architecture firm. The Perth office fit-out includes 79 sit-to-stand desks which replicate Gilbert + Tobin’s award-winning open plan design and layout in Sydney. The open plan design embraces collaboration and modern work practices that translate to greater efficiencies for our clients. Curtin University - Old Perth Boys School
Completed in 1854, the first Perth Boys School was designed by Colonial Secretary of WA, Willian Ayshford Sanford and Clerk of Works, Richard Roach Jewell. Built in the style of a gothic-revival church with the belief that it would impose a sense of duty, attentiveness and obedience in its pupils, the building now houses Curtin University, and is an icon on St Georges Terrace and heralds the western end of the row of Heritage buildings that make up Brookfield Place.
