Established in 1997 by John Griffiths and Jane Micallef, Faber Vineyard takes its name from the Latin for “craft” — a reflection of John’s belief that winemaking is a skill continually honed, never perfected.

After a decade mastering the art of producing highly drinkable wines in warm climates, John arrived in the Swan Valley, recognising its unique ability to produce both delicate, refined whites and richly flavoured, long-lived reds, alongside luscious fortified styles. Today, Faber continues this legacy, working with varieties and styles shaped by over a century of winemaking in the region.
