Indigenous Olympians Outdoor Exhibition
Brookfield Place will be celebrating NAIDOC Week 2021 with a specially curated Indigenous Olympians outdoor exhibition – a great opportunity for Indigenous and non-Indigenous Australians to come together to recognise our rich history, culture and sporting achievements. Due to the recent COVID-19 restrictions, our exhibition will now feature later than anticipated and will be held from Sunday 11 July to 24 July.
NAIDOC Week is celebrated not only in Aboriginal communities but by Australians from all walks of life, with this year’s theme being ‘Heal Country, heal our nation’.
The specially curated outdoor exhibition will feature Olympians Cathy Freeman, Danny Morseu, Alex Winwood, Bradley Hore, Paul Fleming, Nathan Thomas, Kyle Vander-Kuyp and Beki Smith. Read their stories and what ‘Heal Country, heal our nation’ means to them.
Date / Time : Sunday 11 to Saturday 24 July, daily.
Location: Heritage Square (opposite Basilica)
