The Brookfield Place Street Pianos are back in the precinct for all to enjoy!

The 2020 design is about encouragement and reflects inspirational messages to our community. The words ‘Hope’ and ‘Believe’ have been integrated into this year’s piano designs, complemented by drawings of nature as we exit out of hibernation.

As proud supporters of the arts, Brookfield Properties and ArtsBrookfield engaged two West Australian artists to breathe new life into our Street Pianos.

Jerome Davenport has been involved in projects spanning across the globe, mainly focusing on large scale mural projects. Jerome has also had a hand in many major artistic projects outside of painting, including sculpture and mixed media exhibitions. Jerome’s work encapsulates elements of native flora and fauna, presenting a strong drive for conservation and education through his artwork.

Brendan Lewis is a visual and graffiti artist based in Perth. His goal is to create art that socially engages people and creates a dialogue about community attitudes surrounding minority groups.

We encourage you to join in the music and play to your hearts content for all to enjoy! Don’t forget to tag yourself in selfie using #BFPLStreetPianos.

Please note, for your convenience, hand sanitiser has been placed near each of our Street Pianos
