We are proud to partner with The Lester Prize, one of the country’s most prestigious prizes for portraiture.

The Prize provides WA and the country the opportunity to engage with the best of the artform in a format that puts both artists and community front-and-centre.

The 2021 program includes: the Main Exhibition in the Art Gallery of Western Australia’s historic Centenary Galleries; guided tours; artist talks; podcasts; in-person and online workshops; walking tours with Oh Hey WA; and a portrait pathway connecting the Main Exhibition at AGWA with the Youth Exhibition at Brookfield Place Tower 2.
